Who can benefit from an exercise physiologist?

Anyone can benefit!

Is an exercise physiologist covered by insurance?

Yes, allied insurance normally covers an exercise physiologist within his or her own network. To get full or partial reimbursement, having an FSA or PPO will provide coverage for my services.

What kind of payment do you accept?

I accept checks made out to Charles Castillo, PayPal, or direct deposit via Zelle.

What are common symptoms of sciatica?

Common symptoms include weak hip flexors, pain within range of motion, weak lower abdominals, tight hamstrings, disc subluxation or herniation, tingling or shocks from the lower back to the foot, and short leg syndrome (hip unevenness).

When should I seek help after a common ankle sprain?

Check with your general practitioner right away. If all clear, then use MICE: Movement, Ice, Compression, Elevation. Within 3-4 weeks the inflammation should subside and manual therapy followed by exercise would be needed to strengthen the ligaments and muscles. Normally takes 2-3 months for a full recovery.

Do you only work on adults or are children allowed too?

I am able to work on any individual regardless of gender, sex, or age. Only the paperwork that I provide needs to be filled out.

My dog has tight muscles, could you do therapy too?

Yes, I do provide manual therapy for dogs as well. I would recommend to visit your Veterinarian first to see if physiotherapy is needed.
